NOW,I KNOW LOT OF US WOULD LOVE TO GROW THERE YOUTUBE CHANNELS OR TO MAKE THERE YOUTUBE CHANNEL and there is most of the powerful tools to do that is to create sense of community around your YouTube channel.now you do this by answering comments,and listening really to the people they like to see the type of content you create.BUT there is another way to
explore it to actually create sense of community, give people little bit owenership. SO if you are interested you can continue.
YouTube added a couple new features to
YouTube one of these features is to add
channel moderators now this is a pretty
big deal because now you can have a
army of people around you help
moderating the comments under each video
or also on the channel description so if
you want to learn how to actually add
moderators to your channel then you need
to watch this video let's do this now
I'm going to show you two different ways
to actually add comment moderators for
your YouTube channel and it's really
easy now the first way you want to Mouse
up to the Avatar icon click on that and
then come down to creator studio now
once you're here this is going to launch
the dashboard we want to come over to
the community tab right over here on the
left hand side click that and then once
we're here this will automatically come
to the the comments now you can either
search in comments or find the
individual that made a comment so like
Ryan sellers he comes out and helps us
so we're going to go ahead and make him
a moderator and what we need to do is
mouse over to the right-hand side for
this flag click on that and then you can
see right here always approve comments
from this users or we can add this user
as a comment moderator I'm going to go
ahead and do that and basically what
that does is going to send him an email
notifying him that he is now selected to
be a moderator all right now the second
way to actually add a moderator you need
to come down to community settings here
in the community tab click on that it's
going to launch the community settings
the first one right here is moderators
now all you need to do is either paste
in the URL for their YouTube channel or
just start typing it in
so you'll see derral eves here and
basically YouTube's going to send an
email saying hey you know what they've
added you as a moderator but if you go
ahead and hit accept you will be added
as a moderator now once you approve the
email all you need to do is make sure
you're logged in as the moderator so you
can see right here in the upper
right-hand corner that I'm logged in as
video that I can now moderate and you
can see this stand up paddle board
ousting video I can come to any video or
any comment that I'd like and there is
an icon here now that appears that has
three dots now we go ahead and click on
that we can either remove or report for
spam or abuse so moderators now have the
power to go ahead and remove some
comments and also do some moderation I
really think this feature is great for a
lot of big YouTube channels because they
get thousands upon thousands of comments
every day and you never know what you're
going to get so I think it's a great
feature now my question to you is do you
